Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant BOWLING GREEN. 600 Corvette Drive. PO Box 90006  General Motors Bowling Green Assembly Plant is off I-65 exit 28 at Louisville Road and Corvette Drive, across from the National Corvette Museum.  Every Corvette produced since 1982 was manufactured at the Bowling Green, KY plant. The plant offers 1-hour, mile-long guided walking tours of portions of the assembly area.  Admission: $5 per person, under 7 are not permitted Hours: Guided tours Monday-Friday at 9am and 1pm; closed holidays and the first two weeks in July. Cumberland River Ferry TOMPKINSVILLE. Highway 214.  “Cumberland River Ferry” connects the two segments of Hwy 214, and it is the only ferry owned and operated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. It leads to the scenic Turkey Neck Bend area of Monroe County. The Cumberland River Ferry is one of the last remaining free-floating ferries.  The ferry has become a vital part of travel through the area. There are boat ramps available.  (270) 487-1314
